Simon Moreno Modesto, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Audrey Caroline Modesto; cherished son of the late Virginia and Epifanio Modesto. Devoted father of Sima (Christopher) Schappe, Magadalene Modesto, Anthony (Sandra) Modesto, and Jesus Modesto; loving grandfather of Ashleigh, Simon, Andrew Schappe. Simon is also survived by 7 brothers and sistsers, and preceded in death by 2 sisters
Simon proudly served in the United State Army during the time of the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion post # 803 Stockton, California. Simon was a Postmaster for 10 years and retired from the Oakdale, California Post Office. Simon was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Simon's name to Alzheimer’s Association.
