Shirley L. Howard

Shirley L. Howard (nee: Rawlins), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at the age of 81. Loving wife of the late James C. Howard; beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Eva Rawlins; cherished mother of Kathryn (Dave) Smith, Dennis (Linda) Howard, Theodore “Ted” (Denise) Howard, Timothy (Shonda) Howard; treasured grandmother of Jennifer Smith, Eric (Erin) Smith, Catrina (Matt) Bachelor, Lesleigh (Norbert) Leonard, Michael Howard, Brittany (Ryan) Colley, Matthew Howard, Adrian (Candice) Howard, Christina (Mike) Ryan, and Meegan (Alex) Baum; dear great grandmother of Jackson, Nicholas, Emily, Ashley, Bailee, Clayton, Parker, Parker, Vincent, Cooper, Alyvia, Ian, Jacob, Jeremiah, Alexis, Gage, and Gabriella. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Leon, Lester, Alta, Ruby, Leona, Opal, Clarence, Charles, and Virgil.

Shirley enjoyed bowling and was on the Early Birds Bowling Team.  She loved craft shows and making crafts, sewing, and collecting dolls.  She coordinated bus tours to Tunica, Mississippi for Jazz Tours, and had fun going to the casinos and playing the slot machines.  She was a big fan of Wheel of Fortune and The Price Is Right!  Shirley was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
