candle 7I’m sorry to learn of Mr Blackburn’s death. I was one of many checkers at St Peters Shop and Save who waited on Mr Blackburn through the years. He was very kind and friendly and always polite. I was happy to have him come through my line and to chat with him. May God Bless and comfort you all in your grief.

candle 8A man could have no better friend than Seldon Blackburn. He made an indelible impression on me and left me with countless memories. Getting out for breakfast, lunch or dinner without him along will not be the same. I am thankful to God for putting him in my life, and I am thankful for him taking the time to be part of my life.

Was blessed to have been blessed by having Seldon call me friend. First met Seldon in August of 1988 when we started attending First Christian Church Saint Peters Mo. warm and friendly and ornery as all get out ! Many breakfast @ I Bob Evans always willing to by me toast and a glass of water. Many good times and memories! He was a great one for practical jokes, Will never for get the time he slipped a nasty note in my Bible while setting next to him ! I fumed for at leas a week until he confessed !!! After 21 years we were called away but we kept in touch over the years by phone calls and we exchanged birthday cards regularly we,d send the same card over and over until the cad had no writing space left. He sure liked to talk!! Looking forward to being reunited with him and the LORD in Heaven
