Sandra K. Hollenbeck
November 9, 1942 — December 8, 2020
Sandra K. Hollenbeck (née Hendricks) of O’Fallon, MO passed away Tuesday morning December 8, 2020 at the age of 78. Loving wife of the late Charles F. Hollenbeck and the eldest daughter of the late Charles and Doris Hendricks.
She is survived by sisters Dorothy Hasse and Carolyn Hoops. Her four boys, Jeffrey Hollenbeck (Kimberly), John Hollenbeck (Cheryl), James Hollenbeck (Karen), and Mitchell Propp (Merita). Grandmother to Megan, Karly, J.C., Natalie, Ryan, Caitlin, Lauren, Blake, and Brent. Great grandmother to Alexander, Blain, Josephine, Charlotte, Emily, Finnegan, Kinsley, Hadley, Clair, and Colton.
Born in Hannibal, MO and graduated from Eisenhower High School in Decatur, IL. As a fashion-conscious business professional, she was owner of Sandra’s (women’s fashions) in O’Fallon, MO, and served as a member on the Chamber of Commerce in the late 1970s. Sandy was a successful real estate agent in both St. Louis and Daytona Beach.
Sandy made everyone feel like family and truly cared for so many. She remained positive to the end despite enduring crippling injuries, chronic pain and other health issues that restricted her activities for years. The Corona virus proved to be more than she could overcome. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and cherished her love.
Due to the pandemic, there will be no services held at this time, a future celebration of life will be planned when conditions allow us to gather safely. Sandy would want all to enjoy the holidays with their families and loved ones.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to ASPCA, Humane Society or local animal shelter.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart. Thank you for your understanding.
