Samuel Jacob Bauwens

Samuel Jacob Bauwens of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away at the age of 20 on Monday, July 6, 2020. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Gerri Bauwens, and Patrick Heeney.
Samuel is survived by his parents, Carrie (Wade) Breen and Edward (Mary) Bauwens; his siblings, Joshua (Kalinda) Turpin, Kristen (Joseph Higgins) Turpin, Ashleigh (Lacie Johnson) Turpin, Austin Breen, and Luke Bauwens; his grandparents, Daniel (Carla) Foust, Deborah (Gary) Wright, Barbara and Jack Barrett, and Mary Ann Heeney; his aunts and uncles, Daniel (Jackie) Foust, Jr., Justin (Amanda) Foust, Jason (Amber) Foust, Lynn (Ray) Morel, and Anne (Erik) Stokes; his nieces and nephew, Evelyn Schmitz, Harper Johnson, Hadley Johnson, Olive Higgins and Joshua Turpin, Jr.; and his many other uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Samuel had a deep passion for music and was self-taught on the piano; that is where you would usually find him. He was a referee from the age of 13 with the US Soccer Federation. Samuel loved debating politics and theology. The reality is, he loved to debate just about anything as long as he had a willing opponent.
Above everything he loved spending time with his family. He adored being Uncle Sam. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
