Ruth Wilma O’Neal

Ruth Wilma O’Neal (nee: Oburn), of St. Peters, MO, passed away April 15, 2017 at the age of 86. Loving wife of the late Milton Clay O’Neal; beloved daughter of the late Elmer and Clara Oburn; devoted mother of Lynn (Raymond) George and William B. Olvey; dear grandmother of Alan N. George and Craig R. (Christa) George; great-grandmother of Caleb B. George; dearest sister of the late Elmer (Juanita) Oburn, Jr.; aunt of David Oburn and Mia (Bob) Simmons; step-mother of Sharon (Larry) Moll and the late Shirley “Lou” Johnson; step-grandmother of Gary Lee Martin, Jr. and Jeremy Ritch.
In 1988 Ruth retired from Mercantile Bank in St. Louis, and later volunteered to deliver Meals on Wheels with her husband Milton. She and Milton enjoyed traveling and camping in every part of the U.S. Ruth loved to read and was always up for any game, especially a card game. She will be very much missed by her family and circle of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals On Wheels with St. Peter's Senior Center.
