Ruth Louise Neal (nee Miller) of Troy, Missouri, passed away at the age of 80 on Saturday, January 12, 2019.

Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenny Neal; her parents, William and Louise Miller; and her treasured granddaughter, Stephanie Phung.

Ruth is survived by her children, Ronnie (Sandra) Ball, Russell (Sherri) Ball, Roy (Angela) Neal, and Roger (Lisa) Neal; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Rachel) Ball, Ryan (Jennifer) Ball, Sarah (Alex) Cassmeyer, Katelyn Neal, Carly Neal, Kionie (Travis) Rudd, and Nikki Phung; her great-grandchildren, Aiden, Lily Mae, Silas, Sterling, Brylen, and Kinsey; and her brother, William (Gerry) Miller.

Ruth supported military service members and their families through her involvement in the USO. She also attended at various churches throughout the years and enjoyed putting her talented pianist skills to use during services. Ruth was a devoted Christian woman who was undoubtedly strong in her faith. She enjoyed cheering on Mizzou basketball, Blues hockey, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Friends and family will always remember Ruth’s life motto - Joy. Everything she did in life, she did with a smile on her face and joy in her heart and she instilled these values in her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
