Roy A. Gorman

Roy A. Gorman, of Saint Peters, MO (formerly of Florissant), passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Virginia E. Gorman; son of the late Everett A. Gorman and Stella Hoffstetter; devoted father of Karen (Ken) Bertrand, Robert (Kathy) Gorman, and David (Tracy) Gorman; loving grandfather of Valerie Gorman and Danielle (Matthew) Mummert.
Roy proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He retired from McDonnell Douglas after more than 30 years as a Test Engineer. He and Virginia were married for 56 wonderful years. In his early days, Roy enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. He always enjoyed sharing his knowledge and telling stories, as well as working on TVs. Most of all, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
Celebration of life to be held Saturday, August 27, 2016. Please arrive at 3:00 PM, and memorial service will begin at 3:30 PM. Please contact family for details.
