Ross Michael Waltrip
May 5, 1971 — April 29, 2017
Ross M. Waltrip of Warrenton, MO, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the age of 45. Beloved husband of Lisa Waltrip; cherished son of Max and Chris Waltrip and Evelyn "Lyn" and Hyman Ali; devoted father of Jacob (Katie) Waltrip and step-father of Kaleb and Adam Wilmes; loving grandfather of Kylie May and Hunter Wilmes, whose mother is Alicia Coogan; treasured grand son of Benny and Bob Norton; and son-in-law of Dorothy Willis and the late Wayane Willis. Ross is preceded in death by his daughter Cailyn.
Ross served his country proudly in the United States Army during the war in Iraq, and earned the CIB (Combat Infantry Badge). He loved scuba diving, motorcycles, hunting, and camping. He was also an avid St. Louis Blues and Cardinals fan, but above all else, Ross treasured spending time with his family. He was deeply loved, and will be immensely missed by all who knew and loved him.
