Ronald G. “Ron” Friedel, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 56 years to Patricia A. Friedel; loving son of the late Paul and Eileen Friedel; devoted father of James (Judy) Friedel, William (Kristen) Friedel, Robert (Stacey) Friedel, and Thomas Friedel; cherished grandfather of Emily, Daniel, Jenna, Nathan, Mackenzie, Joseph, Adam, Blake, and Jacob; and dear brother of Delbert (the late Vera Mae) Friedel, Larry (Mary Ellen) Friedel, and Lee (Janet) Friedel. Ron was preceded in death by his siblings, Eva Stumpf, John Friedel, and Wayne Friedel.
Ron was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church for more than 45 years, and a member of the Knights of Columbus for 10 years. He greatly enjoyed fishing, and coaching his sons athletic teams. He loved spending time with his family. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
