Robert “Rob” Lynn Smith, Jr.

Robert “Rob” L. Smith Jr. passed away suddenly at his home in O’Fallon, Missouri, on September 28, 2019. Rob was born in Troy, MO on July 7, 1968.

Rob is survived by his loving wife Jenny Smith, whom he adored.

Also surviving are his beloved children, Carter L. Smith and Grace M. Smith (Significant Other Brandon Melgarejo). In addition, Rob leaves behind his loving mother Mary Smith and her companion, Paul Phillips, brother, Dan Smith, sister in law, Karen and nieces Amy and Amber, his uncles, Jack Smith and wife, Bonnie, Tom Norton and his wife, Laura. Rob is also preceded in death by his father, Robert L Smith Sr.

Rob loved animals and especially, his beloved dogs, Marley and Gizmo, who were always by his side.

Rob was in the furniture business for many years and worked at Rothman Furniture and most recently, Ashley Furniture.

Rob was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and collected action figures and many rare toys and collectibles. He was very proud of his collection.

Rob was a rare individual that was beloved by everyone that came into his life. Rob will be sorely missed by his wife, family and friends.

The family will be having a memorial celebration at Dogwood Campground  in Warrenton, Missouri from 10:00AM to 2:00PM at the lodge, Saturday, October 12th.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Rob’s name to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
