Robert L. “Bob” Davinroy, Sr.

Davinroy, Sr., Robert L. “Bob,” of O’Fallon, MO, formerly of Florissant, MO, on Monday, October 3, 2016, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of RuAnn Davinroy; cherished son of the late Leo and Leona Davinroy; devoted father of Tobi Penberthy, Rhiannon (Jeffrey) Walsh, and Robert (Jennifer) Davinroy, Jr.; loving grandfather of Michael Penberthy, Trever Penberthy, Molly Penberthy, Jacob Walsh, Ryan Walsh, Justin Galligos, Cara Galligos, and Jackson Davinroy; dear brother of Linda (Phil) Slover, Janet (Glen) Gray, and Mary (Randy) New; treasured brother-in-law of Janet Davinroy and Krista Potterfield; beloved nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Robert was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Davinroy.
Bob and RuAnn were married on September 17, 1976. They just celebrated 40 years of marriage. Bob worked at Roadway Express for 30 years. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local #600, Elks Lodge #2316, and Teamsters Union #600 Retiree’s Club. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. Robert was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis (2320 Pine Street St. Louis, MO 63103) or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
