Robert James Hiles

Robert (Bobby) James Hiles, of St. Charles, Mo, formerly of Maysville Kentucky passed away Thursday, October 3rd 2019, at his home.

Bobby was born on April 5, 1947 to the late Donald Lee Hiles and Madge Rolph Hiles Reetz. He was the youngest of their three boys.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his two older brothers, Donald Stewart and Larry Lee Hiles.



Bobby also referred to as the “Legend” by friends and family. Bobby is survived by his two children Christopher Kirk and Michelle Elizabeth as well as his cherished Granddaughter Kinley Hiles.  He is also survived by the Mother of his two children, Betsy Kirk Hiles, whom he fell in love with in the eighth grade.  Later in life, he married his second wife Victoria Kirkpatrick in which he was also the Step-father to Michael Kirkpatrick. Michael has two children, Alex and Jacob.  Bobby is also survived by his dearest friend Judy Geeding and several nieces and nephews.



Bobby lived a blessed life. He was the star basketball player of the Maysville Bulldogs and went on to play for University of Kentucky. He earned his Master’s degrees and finished his basketball career at Morehead State. Bobby spent his career in education as a beloved Assistant Principal at Fort Zumwalt North High School.







He loved to laugh, dance and entertain all around. In retirement, golf was his athletic passion. His family was the center of his universe. He was able to light up any room by simply walking in. Robert (Bobby) James Hiles truly has touched countless people and his legacy will last forever.
