Robert J. Hickok, “Bob” of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Betty Lee Hickok (nee Gack); devoted father of Lynne (Greg) Hickok Light, Lisa (Bill) Hickok Waeckerle, and Lesley Hickok Graves; proud grandfather of Kristen, Billy, Angie, Erin, Katie, Kelly, Megan, Brian, Trey, Rachel, and Emily; proud great-grandfather of 12 with two on the way; and dear brother of Connie Hickok Burd, and the late James Hickok. He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. and June Hickok.

Bob was born November 20, 1926, in Curwensville, PA. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WW II. In 1953, he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Washington University School of Physical Therapy in St. Louis, MO and began his 20 long year career as a Physical Therapist, Director of Rehabilitation at Jewish Hospital. In 1971, Bob graduated with his Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration and began working as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Medical Affairs at Washington University School of Medicine. He later retired after a successful career in 1992. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He was most proud of his wife and the family they built together. His unmatchable sense of humor and masterful vocabulary will be missed.
