Robert Eugene Schallert, of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of C. Louise Schallert; cherished son of the late Frances and Helen Schallert; devoted father of Angela (Joe) Guetschow, Valerie (Daniel) Bird, Julie Schallert, Stephanie (Chris) Bell-Martin; loving grandfather of seven; treasured great-grandfather of nine; dear brother of Richard (Anne) Schallert and Mary Schallert Gucciardo.
Robert was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He enjoyed square dancing, playing Pinochle, and enjoyed traveling with his wife, Louise. Most of all Robert loved spending time with his family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association in Robert's honor.
