Robert E. “Bob” Rose of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 89 on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Audrey Rose; his parents, James and Lela Rose; and his brother-in-law, Paul Herman.

Bob is survived by his children, Robert (Kathryn) Rose Jr., Cindy (Sid) Aslin, Judith (Darrell) Jensen, and Don (Tammy) Rose; his eleven grandchildren; his twelve great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Betty Herman and Doris (Wayne) Dothager.

Serving as a paratrooper during the Korean Conflict was an honor for Bob. Bob graduated from Greenville College with a degree in education and spent most of his career as a math teacher and guidance counselor.

Bob’s faith in Jesus was one of the most important things in his life. He belonged to Calvary Church and was always a huge supporter of everything the church did from their mission work to the various activities they planned. Bob lived out his faith through his tireless dedication and desire to helping others in need. The St. Louis Cardinals had Bob’s constant support and he always looked forward to catching their games whenever they played. Above everything, Bob loved his family dearly and cherished the memories they made together over the years. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
