Robert D. McArthur
October 9, 1939 — August 21, 2021
Robert Dale McArthur, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Janie McArthur; cherished son of the late Sidney and Kathleen McArthur; devoted father of Susan (David) Robson; dear cousin of the late John Wayne Ragsdele and the late Kay Ragsdele Leddon; Robert is also survived by many dear friends.
Robert and Janie were born and raised in Texas but moved to Columbia, MO around 15 years ago to be closer to their beloved daughter, Susan and her husband, David. He was very active within his church. He enjoyed fishing, stargazing, reading all types of different books and enjoyed birdwatching and became a master naturalist with his beloved wife of 55 years. Robert was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Robert's name to Week of Compassion.
