Robert C. Lada, of Wright City, Missouri, passed away November 8, 2017, at the age of 70. Loving husband of 45 years to Linda Lada; beloved son of the late Ollie C. Lada and the late Goldie Geary; devoted father of Terri (Gary) Hoelting, Michael (Jennifer) Lada, Mary Lada, and Melissa (Eric) Liang; treasured grandfather of Megan Lada, Eric Lada, Sabrina Hoelting, Valerie Gehrs, Tyler Gehrs, Madison Liang, and Evan Liang; cherished great-grandfather of Reagan; and dear brother of James (Marilynn) Lada and Kim Needs.
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired after more than 19 years from General Motors on the assembly line. He loved working on cars, woodworking, and building computers. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, going to garage sales, and watching the Velocity Channel. Robert looked forward to putting puzzles together with his wife during the winter time. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
