Robert “Boots” Remmert of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 78 on Friday, December 13, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenoa Remmert; his parents, Edward and Dorothy Remmert; and his brother, Wayne Remmert.
Robert is survived by his wife, Carolyn “Sue” Taul; his children, Kelly (Christopher) Reisa, Robert “Rusty” (Gail) Remmert, Jr., Deanian (Tim) Gossett, Michael (Marisa) Taul, and Tereasa (Steve) Edwards; his grandchildren, Tara Seiberlich, Brianna Seiberlich, Leah Reisa, Hayden Reisa, Josh Baermam, Maranda (James) Harris, Caleb Gossett, Joseph Taul, and Morgan Edwards; his great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Scarlet, Tristin, Magnus, Genevieve, and Macy; and his sisters, Dottie (Dennis) Hittler, and Carol (Paul) Donner, he is also survived by his nieces and nephews which he loved.
Robert proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy. He retired from his career as a manager for National Supermarkets and was a lifelong Harley-Davidson enthusiast. Robert was a true outdoorsman who just loved being outside and spending his time hunting, fishing, and boating. He was active in many area organizations including Gateway Lodge #40, AF&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of St. Louis, and Moolah Shrine Temple. Above everything, Robert loved his family dearly and always had a hug ready for them. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
