Richard P. Mitchell

Richard P. Mitchell of St. Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 84 on Sunday, February 7, 2021. He is survived by his grandchildren, Kristin (Jeremy) Lawrence and Jacob (Kristen) Heinicke; his great-grandchildren, Rylee, Eli, Lucas, Hunter, and Brooke; and his brother, Harry (Eleanor) Mitchell.
Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Mitchell; his children, Tina Mitchell and Roger Mitchell; and his parents, Morris and Annie Mitchell.
Richard was fond of traveling with his wife, Mary, and their very dear friends – especially on cruises and to Florida. Perhaps his most memorable trip was when he cruised through the Mediterranean and saw Europe. He enjoyed spending time on the tennis court as well as relaxing with a peaceful day of fishing. Richard was known as a handyman always looking to tinker with something or improve it as part of a project and there simply was not anything he couldn’t fix. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorials may be made in Richard's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
