Raymond Stephen Borus

Raymond Stephen Borus, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the age of 68. Husband of the late Diana Lynn Borus; beloved son of the late Pete and Rose Borus; devoted father of Tricia Ann (Aaron) Drammeh, Michael Scott (Angela May) Borus, Peter Raymond (Cynthia) Borus, and Kristyn Marie (Derick) Smith; cherished grandfather of Christopher Aaron (Danika Burke) Borus, Dena Louise (Justin) Hanna, Alexander Borus, Tyler Jestin Borus, Ahmed Raymond Drammeh, Jenna Borus, Khadeja Diana Drammeh, and Mireya Borus; treasured great-grandfather of Jackson, Jayden, Julien, Kingsly, and one on the way; dear brother of Don (Cheryl) Borus; caring uncle of Amy Borus. Raymond is also preceded in death by his brother, Pete Borus.

Raymond retired from Boeing after many years of service, where he worked as an engineer. He was a very proud Notre Dame alumni, where he played sousaphone in the marching band. Raymond enjoyed attending football games all over the country and in Ireland. He was a member and played guitar in the Sceptors band that started in high school and continued with reunions. One time they opened for Bob Seger. Raymond loved music, singing, golfing and spending time with his family and traveling with them. He was a very generous soul, helping all who needed it. Raymond was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Raymond's name to the Notre Dame Marching Band.

Visitation will be conducted for Mr. and Mrs. Borus together as well as a joined funeral mass to celebrate their 44 years of marriage.
