Raymond Leonard Klutenkamper

October 23, 1930 — December 16, 2018

Raymond Leonard Klutenkamper of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Shirlee Klutenkamper; cherished son of the late Conrad and Theresa Alice Klutenkamper; devoted father of Gregory A. and Linda Klutenkamper, and Julia Ann and James R. Black, Jr.; loving grandfather of Jay (Kasia Antczak) Black, Christine Black, Kathryn (Nathan) Kalthoff, Benjamin Klutenkamper and Joseph Klutenkamper. Treasured great-grandfather of Maks Black, Xavier Black, Connor Kalthoff and Sawyer Kalthoff. Dear brother of Mary Becker, Terry (Charles) Kunz, and the late Conrad Klutenkamper and Leonard Klutenkamper.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Raymond proudly served his country with honor in the United States Army. He was a Parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville and was also a member of Knights of Columbus of Cottleville. He loved baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals, and in his younger years was also a semi-professional baseball umpire. Raymond’s children remember with fondness his wonderful sense of humor and fun and easygoing spirit. Above all things he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his treasured grandchildren. Raymond was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and all who loved him

In celebration of Ray’s life, his family invites friends and relatives to wear their Cardinals attire to services.
