Randy L. Hampton, Sr.
August 27, 1945 — May 30, 2019
Randy L. Hampton Sr. of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 73 on Thursday, May 30, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Theresa Hampton; and his sister, Diana Hampton.
Randy is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Hampton; his children, Dawn Collins, Ryan (Dana) Hampton, Randy Hampton, Jr., Carie Hampton, Tammy Hampton, Patrick Hampton, and Nicholas (Kristina) Hampton; his siblings, Ruth Meyer, Rodney Hampton, and Nina (Lance) Hampton; his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his step-children, Rhonda (George) Moloney, Janell Lambert, and Dianna Burnett; and his dear friend and caregiver, Lorie Nipper.
Randy was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served his country both in the Army and, later, the Air Force. He went on to become a law enforcement officer for Wentzville and Foristell and then worked as a bail bondsman at Tullock Bail Bonds. The St. Louis Cardinals had his lifelong support. For fun, Randy enjoyed gambling or watching old John Wayne movies. Friends and family will always remember the jokes and stories Randy used to tell with his great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed.
