Rachel D. Kyle

Rachel Dean Kyle (nee Smith), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the age of 87. Cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Iona Smith; devoted mother of the late Kevin Kyle; dear sister of Sandra (John) Young; and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Mark Smith, Keith Smith, Glenn Smith, Carolyn Hutchins and Mary Ann Holmes Gossum.

Rachel was a kind and caring woman. She worked for Ozark Airlines as a stewardess and then went on to retire after many years as the reservation manager of the Sheraton at Westport. In her free time, Rachel cheered on her favorite team, the St. Louis Blues and spent time with family and friends. Rachel was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Rachel's name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Missouri Humane Society.
