Perley Cassady

July 13, 1929 — February 13, 2019

Perley Dean Cassady of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Hazel Cassady; cherished son of the late Edgar and Neva Cassady; devoted father of Leslie (Mary) Cassady, Peggy Robinson, and Paul (Tammy) Cassady; loving grandfather of Stephanie Cassady, Melanie Cassady, and Stacy Smith; treasured great-grandfather of Kara Beth Waddell and Ryan (Heather) Smith; and adored great-great-grandfather of Skyler and Kason Waddell, and RaeLynn and Wyatt Smith. Perley was also preceded in death by his infant son David Cassady; granddaughter Sarah Cassady; and brother Roy McBee.

Perley proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for the Missouri Conservation Commission as a game warden then became the area manager for the August A. Busch Memorial Wildlife Area for twenty three years.  He enjoyed collecting guns, knives, arrowheads and woodworking. Perley was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
