Paul W. Harkins

Paul W. Harkins passed away on August 11, 2016, leaving behind his mother, Lorraine Harkins, siblings:  Michael, Patty, John, and Mary; nieces & nephews:  Nick, Nicky, and Tracy Harkins; Greg and Vanessa Harkins; Taryn and Connor Gough; Christopher, Jonathan, and Brylee Harkins.  He was predeceased by his father, William Harkins, and brother, Chris Harkins, and his dear wife of 40+ years, Eileen Rose Harkins.

Prior to his diagnoses of ALS and dementia, Paul was a fun-loving and hard-working guy.  He often said he had the best job, the best wife, the best mother, and the best life.  He loved fishing, golf, traveling with his wife, and telling tall tales to the delight of all around him.  His yard and garden was immaculate, and he loved his dog.  Paul was proud of his 46 years in the employment of McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing Company.  Until very recently, Paul continued to take “crazy drives” around the area, and his greatest pleasure was taking his mother to O’Charley’s for supper.  We will miss his generosity, humor, and sweet disposition.
