Patricia Fortschneider of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away at the age of 86 on Thursday, November 19, 2020. Patricia is survived by her children, Michael Fortschneider, Kim Fortschneider, and Daniel Fortschneider; her granddaughter, Jamie Fortschneider; her great-granddaughter, Jylia Miller; her brothers, James and Ronald Narup; and her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Fortschneider; her grandson, Nicholas Fortschneider; and her parents, Everett “Bus” and Veronica Narup.
For Patricia, family was always the most important thing for her and the joy of her life was spending as much time with them as she could. She was the type of person who always put everyone else before herself and her selfless nature was a great source of comfort for her loved ones. In her younger years, Patricia was an avid reader who loved to sit down and get lost in the pages of a great novel. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial contributions in Patricia’s name may be made to the Mary Culver Home for Visually Impaired Women or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
