Olivia Christine Edler

Olivia Christine Edler of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 70 on Sunday, June 14, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Edler; her parents, George Smajda and Elizabeth Carpenter; and her sister, Loretta (Donald) Wilson.

Olivia is survived by her children, Matthew (Jamie Lynn Kopsie) Edler and Kate (Kyle) Koehly; her grandchildren, Braden Kopsie, Joseph Edler, Gus Koehly, and Alex Koehly; her siblings, Betty (Terry) Hoyt, George (Maggie) Smajda, Patricia (Bernie) Windisch, Teresa (Jim) Fahrig, and Marie Kutryb (Greg Dyer); and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Olivia was a passionate fan of both the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals and never failed to follow their games, even watching both at the same time when they played at the same time. For fun, Olivia enjoyed crime shows on television and playing cards with her friends and family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Olivia’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
