Nell Kruse

Nell Kruse (nee Henderson), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at the age of 78. Loving wife of Lawrence J. Kruse; Beloved daughter of the late Loren and Geneva “Jean” Henderson; devoted mother of Myrna (Kenneth) Prenger and Lisa (Kurt) Nelson; stepmother of Missy (Jeff) McKeown; cherished grandmother of Wil (Christy) Taylor, Adam (Melissa) Prenger, Cory (Rachel) Prenger, Jennifer (Craig) Hollandsworth, John Nelson, James Nelson, Travis Nelson, Taylor McKeown, Ian McKeown, and Kylie McKeown; treasured great-grandmother of Olivia Taylor, Madison Taylor, Evan Taylor, Anthony Prenger, Benjamin Prenger, and Carson Prenger. Nell is also preceded in death by her son, Robert Gilbert and daughter, Janice Gilbert.

Nell was an avid bowler in her younger years and had a great love for the sport. She also had a lot of fun participating in the Black Powder Rendezvous where she was a Trader. Nell enjoyed traveling and going to the Casino, especially taking trips to Las Vegas. Nell was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Nell's honor to the Disabled American Veterans.
