Nancy J. Phelps
June 21, 1938 — July 13, 2019
Nancy J. Phelps of Saint Charles, MO, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John Phelps; and her parents, Edmund and Mildred Ayo.
Nancy is survived by her children, Barbara (Joel) Waymire, Keith (Stephanie) Phelps, and Sharon Phelps; her grandchildren, Amy (Jeremy) Schwentker, Justin (Brandy) Phelps, Joshua (Rebecca) Waymire, and Nicholas (Michelle) Waymire; her great-grandchildren, Rhegan Imming, Conley Imming, Samantha Phelps, Alaina Phelps, Dax Phelps, and Everett Waymire; her siblings, Robert (Mary Jo) Ayo and Carol (Robert) Tumbarello; and she was a loving aunt, sister-in-law, and friend to many.
Nancy was a former member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church and worked as a secretary at River Roads Lutheran School. Her passion for music and her faith led her to join her church choir. Nancy had a creative spirit and put her talented crafting skills to use through scrapbooking and sewing. The Beanie Baby collection Nancy amassed over the years was a source of great pride and enjoyment for her. She will be dearly missed.
