Myra A. Helton

Myra A. Helton (nee: Presley), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Harry G. "Glendon" Helton; cherished daughter of the late Jeremiah and Hannah Presley; devoted mother of Phyllis A. (Kevin) Rich and Darla (Daniel) Afflick; loving grandmother of Matthew (Dina) Bazzill and Tyler, Mitchell and Hope Afflick; treasured great-grandmother of Violet and Willa Bazzill; and cherished sister-in-law of Nancy Jo Jordan. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Mary, Hugh, Irene, Opal, Joe, Pansy, and Blanche.

Myra was a woman of great faith and a member of Brookside Baptist Church. She was a fantastic cook who enjoyed Southern-style cooking. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, word search puzzles, gardening and tending to her roses. Most of all, Myra enjoyed spending time with her family. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
