Millie Pisciotta (nee Serra), of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on September 18, 2017 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Angelo Pisciotta; devoted mother of Vita (Fred) Pfleinger and Dominic (Bird) Pisciotta; loving grandmother of David (Shelley) Pisciotta, Kimberly (Tim) Schacht, Steven Pisciotta, Julie (Scott) Costello, and Amy Branhof; treasured great-grandmother of Anthony, Andrew, Tabitha, Alisa, Aly, Mason, Megan, Evan, and Ethan; and dear sister of Marion "Mike" Serra. She was also a beloved friend to many.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Maria Serra; and siblings, Louis Serra, Dominic Serra, Jennie Foti, Rose Goldschmidt, Joe Serra, Virginia Serra, Helen Serra, Sam Serra, and John Serra.
Millie was born December 19, 1921 in St. Louis, Missouri. She married the love of her life, Angelo Pisciotta on October 9, 1943. Millie was an incredible seamstress and devoted her career to her passion and talent for sewing. She worked for Bridal Originals for 33 years before retiring. Millie loved animals and taking trips to the Casino where she loved to play the slot machines. She will be remembered as a genuine, good-hearted person who always helped anyone in need of her sewing expertise. She is dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
