Mildred A. Wilson

Mildred A. “Millie” Wilson (nee Holloway) of Winfield, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018, at the age of 80.  Loving wife of 54 years to the late William J. Wilson; beloved daughter of the late Perry and Mary Holloway; devoted mother of Debbie (the late Glen) Kolander; cherished grandmother of Jill Lough; treasured great-grandmother of Riley and Brianna Lough; dear sister-in-law of Marie Holloway and Becky Holloway; and dearest friend Diana (Marty) Finch.  Millie was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond (Violet) Holloway, Arthur (Judy) Holloway, Thomas Holloway, Paul (Tina) Holloway, Henry Holloway, and Carl Holloway.

Millie retired from BJC after many years as a medical technician.  She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Winfield, and looked forward to attending the senior activities.  Throughout her life she enjoyed collecting keepsakes and other special things.  One of her specialties was color-coded containers to organize items in her home; she was always a perfectionist!  Millie loved to listen music and taught herself to play the organ.  She also liked sewing and doing crafts.  She was a very proud mother, and her daughter was the light of her life.   She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
