Mildred retired after more than 20 years as a seamstress with Gateway Custom Draperies. She was a hard worker on her farm, and in later years enjoyed tending to her garden and flowers. She enjoyed the outdoors, and especially loved camping, fishing, and golfing. She was an avid bowler, and was on many leagues throughout the years. Mildred was quite the quilter and could be found spending hours making quilts with the ladies at church for the Women's Guild. She and her husband wintered in Texas with friends, and liked traveling, especially to the Lake of the Ozarks to go boating and fishing. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
