Michael Jay Tobias, of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at the age of 54. Beloved son of the late William T. and Roma Tobias; step-son of Jane Tobias; dear brother of Tammy (Tony) Gianino and William Tobias; cherished uncle of Ashley (Joshua) Stevens, Nichole (Eric) Rapplean, Anthony Gianino, Thomas Gianino, Dylan Gianino, and Sophia Gianino; treasured great-uncle of Abigail, Taylor, Jordin, Peyton, Sadie, Ava, Noah, and Olivia. Michael is also survived by many other family and friends.
Michael was a Support Group Facilitator and Teacher with the Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri and Group Founder of Duel Recovery Anonymous. He enjoyed theater and studied acting. Michael was very artistic and loved to write. He dearly loved his dogs Lefty and Penelope they will miss him dearly. Michael was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Michael’s name to Nami St. Louis, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
