Michael James Border

Michael Border of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 53 on Monday, August 19, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald J. Border.

Mike is survived by his mother, Betty J. Border; his sisters, Karen S. (Jerry) Luetkenhaus, Diana K. Cooper, Linda A. (Jeff) Libbert, and Deborah J. (Randy) Sanderson; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and one great-great-niece.

Mike was a member of the O’Fallon Elks Lodge #2587 for 18 years. He was a dedicated member and took off work every year on 9/11 to serve the veterans. He was very instrumental in cooking for the homeless on holidays throughout the year and enjoyed participating in many charity events. Mike was also a volunteer with the O'Fallon Fire Department for 10 years. Mike accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. His loving and generous spirit will be missed.
