Michael H. Winkler

Michael H. Winkler of Stephenson, MI, passed away at the age of 66 on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Winkler.

Michael is survived by his children, Joseph (Angela) Winkler and Patrick (Stephanie) Winkler; his mother, Barbara Winkler; his grandchildren, Morgan, Dylan, Owen, Quinn, Lilah, Aiden, Hadley, Adelyn and Camden Winkler; his siblings, Robert "Buck" (Kathy) Winkler, Peter (Linda) Winkler, Peggy (Marc) Grille, Mary (Tom) Burke, John (Angela) Winkler, and Jerry (Renee) Winkler; his uncle, Gerald (Andrea) Buckley; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.

Michael loved the outdoors and spending his days fishing or down in Florida. While in Florida, Michael relaxed by soaking in beaches, enjoying the sunsets, and watching the manatees around his pier. Michael was passionate about his career as a chef and was well-respected within the profession as a dedicated mentor and a very gifted innovator. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and treasured the time he spent with his family and the memories they all made together over the years. Michael will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
