Purdy, Michael C. of Saint Peters, MO, died Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the age of 47. Michael was the cherished son of Thomas and Barbara Purdy (nee: Bauer); dear brother of Dana (Brian) Clemson; and loving uncle of Joshua, Dylan, Austin, and Brice Clemson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbur Purdy, Myrtle Grayson, and Adam & Matilda Bauer.
Michael graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. He went on to work as a Science Writer for Washington University School of Medicine, and was an active member of MENSA and National Association for Science Writers. In his spare time, Michael enjoyed photography, comic books, movies, playing pinball, reading, and walking his dog, Elvis. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Department of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
