Melvin “Mel” Jackson

Melvin "Mel" Jackson of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 52 on Friday, September 6, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell Jackson.
Mel is survived by his beloved wife, Shelly Jackson; his mother, Ella Jackson; his step-children, Justin Yates and Daniel Yates; his brother, Terrell (Veronica Vann) Jackson; his nephew and niece, Stiles Jackson and Melody Libor; his mother-and-father-in-law, John and Anita Hubert; his brother-in-law, Lloyd Muick, and his loving aunt, uncles, and cousins.
Mel was a chef at Bar Louie and had a special place in his heart for animals, leaving behind his cats, Milo, Caesar, Shiba, and Nala, and his dogs, Mia and Ruby. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and always treasured the time he spent with his family and the memories he made with them. Mel will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mel’s honor to 4 Paws 4 Rescue.
