Melvin Gale Massey, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of almost 60 years to Barbara Massey; cherished son of the late Melvin and Thelma Massey; devoted father of Eric (Leslee) Massey and Sam (Lisa) Massey; loving grandfather of Katelyn, Samantha, and Patrick; treasured great-grandfather of Waylon, Lyndon, and Julia; Melvin is preceded in death by 3 brothers.
Melvin proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force. Before working at Mid Coast Aviation for 40 years where he retired, he worked as a cosmetologist, the profession that led him to meet his wife. He was aeronautical enthusiast. Melvin was also an avid brass steam locomotive collector.
Melvin was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
