Mary Lou Butts (nee Asher), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at the age of 90. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford Eugene Sims; wife of William Butts; beloved daughter of the late William and Edna Asher; devoted mother of Brenda (David) Tremain, Mark (Cindy) Sims, and Michael Sims; cherished grandmother of Anthony (Maggie) Wininger, Erin (Luke) McCulloch, Keegan Sims, Nick Tremain, Sarah (Adam) Hartmann, Tayler Sims, and Caitlyn Sims; treasured great-grandmother of Virginia Opal Wininger and Ethan McCulloch. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her two brothers, Albert Asher and James Asher.
Mary Lou was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Charles for 65 years. She enjoyed playing the piano, painting, traveling and bird watching. Mary Lou was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Mary Lou's name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
