Mary Lee Wahler

Wahler, Mary Lee, (nee: Bredfeldt) of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at the age of 88. Loving wife of Wayne Wahler; beloved daughter of the late Charles and Adelaide Bredfeldt; devoted mother of Philip (Patricia) Wahler, Richard (Kathleen) Wahler, Christine (Robert) Buck, Ray Wahler, and Catherine (Greg) Sommerhof; cherished grandmother of Justin (Kathy) Wahler, Jessica (Andy) Fouse, Jeremy Zink, Meghan Buck, Lindsey Buck, Eric Sommerhof, Kevin Sommerhof, and Mary Cate Sommerhof; treasured great-grandmother of Henrik Fouse; and dear sister of Nancy (the late Ernie) Martt.




Mary Lee was a teacher for more than 21 years with Francis Howell School District. She was an elder of St. Charles Presbyterian Church and taught Sunday School for many years. She made teddy bears for baptisms at the church. She enjoyed golfing, quilting, sewing, and playing bridge.  Mary Lee loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.




Memorials may be made to St. Charles Presbyterian Church.




Lunch will be served following the funeral service.
