Mary Ann Bartels

Mary Ann Bartels (nee: McCosh) of Wentzville, MO, died on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the age of 77. Loving wife of Dennis R. Bartels; beloved daughter of the late Samuel Allison and Margaret Marie McCosh; devoted mother of Jeffrey F. (Sherry) Vanost, Steven W. (Laura) Bartels, and Scott A. (Laura) Bartels; cherished grandmother of Brendan, Lindsay, and Jeremy Vanost, Kelly and Mark Bartels, Sydney and Morgan Bartels; dear sister of Norman D. (the late Bonnie) McCosh, Rita (Rob) Pryor, Judith (Larry) Lynch, and siblings-in-law, Michael and Mary Jo Vanost, Don and Pat Bartels; beloved aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her first husband Francis "Frank" J. Vanost, three brothers, Samuel J McCosh, Eugene T. McCosh, Robert J McCosh, and sister, Betty Howell.

Mary Ann was an executive assistant at Monsanto and later an admin assistant at Crider Health Center. Mary Ann loved crafting, sewing, ceramics, embroidering, and quilting. She loved and adored her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
