Mary Alma Coad

Mary Alma Coad (nee Critzer), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the age of 94. Loving wife of Alvin Charles Coad; beloved daughter of the late Charles Leigh and Anna Merle Critzer; devoted mother of Sandra (Bill) Moore, Barbara (Jeff) Croyle, Curtis "Gene" (Gail) Miller, and Deborah (Mike) Rine; cherished grandmother of ten; beloved great-grandmother and great-great grandmother; dear sister of Joan (Bob) Miller and Gary (Wanda) Critzer. Mary is also preceded in death by her two brothers, Bob Critzer, Bill Critzer; and sister, Marcele Shrader.

Mary loved her family dearly, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family and playing cards every Sunday with her children and grandchildren. She was known to have a green thumb and loved caring for her flowers. Mary was a bird lover and enjoyed watching hummingbirds. She bowled for many years and later in life Mary took up golf. She was active in this until she became blind from macular degeneration. Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
