Martha L. Schaefer

Martha L. Schaefer (nee Chaney) of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 86 on Monday, February 4, 2019. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene A. “Hutch” Schaefer; her dear daughter, Pamela Cox; her sister, Katherine Haddox; her parents, Ira and Mary Chaney; and her beloved Teacup Poodle, Baby.

Martha is survived by her children, Sharon (Tim Merkle) Faupel, Mary Yvonne (Dennis) Griffith, Jackie Belland, and Michael (Donna) Belland; her brother, Jimmy (Sylvia) Chaney; her grandchildren, Nicholis (Emily) Schaefer, Ashley Watkins, Brianna Faupel, Alivia Faupel, David (Kelly) Kettler, Sarah (Bill) Muich, and Kevin Griffith; and her great-grandchild, Savannah Schaefer.

Martha enjoyed collecting and doing crossword puzzles. Above everything else, Martha loved her family and her beloved pet poodle, Baby. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
