Werner, Marshall D., of St. Charles, MO, died on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at the age of 83. Loving husband of the late Alice Jean Werner; beloved son of the late Ernest and Martha Werner; devoted father of Martha (Robert) Dow Chaffin and Mark Duncan (Christine) Werner; cherished grandfather of James T. (Crystal) Chaffin, Joey T. (Kim) Chaffin, Ian P. Werner, and Dexter A. Werner; treasured great-grandfather of Aubrey L. Chaffin and Gunnar J. Chaffin; dear brother of Ann (Michael) Beatty; and also a loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his daughter Nancy Page Tilford.
