Marilyn Schlueter

September 3, 1934 — August 22, 2020

Marilyn Schlueter of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 85 on Saturday, August 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her first husband; Donald Joerding; her second husband, Charles Schlueter; and her parents, Lewis and Virginia Young.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Christine (Samuel) Cameron and Yvonne (Dannie) Reynolds; her grandchildren, Josh Cameron and Suzanne (Kyle) Bruns; her two great-grandchildren; and her stepchildren.

Marilyn was a faithful member of West End Church of Christ and a former Girl Scout Leader where she served as Cookie Chairman. History fascinated Marilyn and she treasured the fellowship she found as a member of the Kirkwood Historical Society. She was an avid reader with a particular interest in English and Missourian history. Her other hobbies included a love for traveling with her late husband Charlie and tending to her beautiful garden. Marilyn's vibrant and fun personality was a delight for everyone who knew her and she truly treasured the time she spent with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
