Marilyn V. (Dean) Cooper of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 90 on Friday, August 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by her children, J. David Cooper, Curtis Cooper, and Carol (Tom) Hockenberry; her parents, James and Dorothy Dean; and her siblings, Frankie Dean, James David Dean, and Mary Jackson.

Marilyn belonged to Meramec Valley Baptist Church and would volunteer for the O’Fallon Police Department. For over thirty years, Marilyn served as a medical service tech at St. John’s Mercy Hospital. She was known for being a world traveler who always looked forward to making great memories during her exciting trips. Marilyn truly loved music including playing the organ, going to bluegrass festivals, and going to the Muny Opera. She was a member of the Lacefield Music Group and enjoyed the friendships she made there. For fun, Marilyn was fond of going camping and going on float trips with PWP. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Marilyn’s name may be made to Meramec Valley Baptist Church.
