Marilyn C. Klutenkamper (nee: Sammelmann) of Saint Charles, MO, was Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, January 15, 2017, at the age of 87. She was the loving wife of Conrad Klutenkamper; cherished daughter of the late Clarence and Julia G. Sammelmann; devoted mother of Mark A. (MaryAnn) Klutenkamper, Jill (Richard) Tegethoff, Brian (Debbie) Klutenkamper, and Jay C. (Nora) Klutenkamper; beloved grandmother of Jeremy (April) Klutenkmaper, Justin (Jamie Clary) Klutenkamper, Joshua (Monica) Klutenkamper, Allyson Klutenkamper, Dan Klutenkamper, Laura (Richy) Szyman, Eric Tegetthoff, Amy (Franklin) Woitel, Adam Tegetthoff, Ethan Klutenkamper, and Joel Klutenkamper, cherished great-grandmother of Parker, Chase, Blake, Sadie Klutenkamper, Josephine, and Charlotte Szyman. As an only child, her cousins became her siblings, she will be missed by those who survive.
Marilyn worked for many years for the Francis Howell School District as a teacher and was a member of the Missouri National Education Association and Missouri State Teachers Association. Along with being a devout member and quilter at St. Cletus Catholic Church she belonged to Phi Delta Kappa, St. Charles City Association and the St. Charles Historical Society. Marilyn’s family was most important to her and she cherished the time she got to spend with them. She will be missed by all who knew her.
