Marie Frances Vrabel

Vrabel, Marie Frances (nee: Bates), of St. Peters, MO, died on Monday, October 2, 2017, at the age of 82. Loving wife of the late John P. Vrabel, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late James L. and Elsie Bates; devoted mother of Mark (Janai) Vrabel, Lauri (Tim) Tawney, John P. (Cathy) Vrabel, Jr., and Steven D. Vrabel. She is also survived by 10 cherished grandchildren, and loving great-grandchildren.
Marie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. She loved to read and could spend hours with a good book, but nothing gave her as much joy as spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marie was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
